Roxborough Avenue & Tower Street

This is the view from the corner of Roxborough Avenue & Tower Street in Manayunk, looking south, down Roxborough Avenue.  The road slopes downward to Pretzel Park. This drawing is almost the reverse of Tuesday's drawing.

I always liked the look of the house on the corner. As I was drawing, a woman walked by and told me about the woman who used to live there. Apparently she was a "son of a gun" but she died "in her own bed." This drawing was done with a fountain pen, brush pen and a china marker. I skipped the slate blue color pencil this time and used a china marker, which is like a crayon, instead. I'm not as happy with the results. It took an hour and a half to draw.
